Profile:
Born in 1979 in Sirjan, Iran, the artist holds a Bachelor’s degree in Painting from Islamic Azad University, Kerman, and a Master’s degree in Painting from Science and Culture University, Tehran. They are an active member of both the Iranian Painters Association and the Iranian Sculptors Association, contributing to Iran’s vibrant art scene through diverse creative practices.
Artistic Journey:
The artist began their professional career in 2008, focusing on painting and sculpture. Their first solo project, Untitled, was a series of canvas paintings exploring self-portraits with masks, which set the foundation for their artistic journey. In December 2024, they successfully exhibited their latest project at Rischee29 – Art Wall, presenting a collection that showcased their evolving themes and technical mastery. This milestone further cemented their reputation as a significant voice in contemporary Iranian art.
Notable Works:
The artist has participated in over ten land art and environmental installations and earned recognition in prominent events, including third place at the 2014 Tabriz Stone Sculpture Symposium and fourth place in its 2015 edition. Their work has been showcased internationally at events like the Baalbek Symposium in Lebanon and the World Mural and Graffiti Festival in Tunisia. They have also exhibited in renowned galleries and museums, such as the Contemporary Art Museum in Kerman and Homehr Gallery, while curating the 4th National Sculpture Symposium in Kerman in 2021.
