Profile:
Mehdi Seifi is a graphic designer and painter with a strong background in visual arts. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and a Master’s degree in Art Research from the Faculty of Art and Architecture at Islamic Azad University.
Seifi’s work includes solo painting exhibitions and participation in numerous group exhibitions at recognized galleries such as Hoor, Etemad, Art Center, Shirin, and Saba. His art has also reached international audiences, including an exhibition at the Meridian International Center in the United States. Since 2016, he has contributed to the art community as a member of the editorial board for a professional artist’s quarterly magazine.

Artistic Journey:
Seifi has made significant contributions to design literature, particularly with works like An Introduction to the Pathology of Design Education in Graphic Design in Iran (2016) and A Look at the History of Contemporary Graphics in Iran (2012). He also authored the introduction to an exclusive volume on Ghobad Shiva, part of AGI’s renowned series, The Selected Masters of Graphic Design. Seifi’s journey in the arts began in 1366 Shamsi, marking the onset of a distinguished career in the field.

Notable Works:
Seifi’s contributions to the field of graphic design and art education include his 2007 essay “An Introduction to the Pathology of Design Education in Iranian Graphic Design” and his 2013 study “A Look at the History of Contemporary Iranian Graphic Design.” He also authored the foreword to the dedicated book on Qobad Shiva, published by AGI as part of their Selected Works of Master Graphic Designers series.
